Presumably they know that a small percentage of people will either lose it, or will forget, or won't bother their arse to go into a bank to cash it. Sly. The Clydesdale Bank (virgin money) in East Kilbride shut down earlier this year. I now have the app on my phone that allows me to take a photo of the cheque and it goes straight into my account.
