Switched leckie suppliers last month and Bulb have sent me my outstanding bill. The total is 6 times the amount I paid them a month.

I had that earlier this year. Got smart meters fitted when I joined them and at some point they stopped sending data back. Couple of years later, I go to switch and I'm handed with a bill for the best part of £800, as I'd been paying estimates for most of that time. Yes, probably my fault for not keeping an eye on the direct debit, as that should've given me a clue.

The Mrs is away with the youngest this morning and the eldest is at school. This is the first time in 5 years I've been able to come home to an empty house and go for a sleep before work (because I'm a lazy b*****d) and today I have a midshift rather than a backshift so I start at 12. Rather than getting a couple of good hours kip I'll be up in an hour and a bit for a shower.

Probably more suited for the First World Problems thread right enough.

I’m no expert, but I reckon that we could put a big dent in climate change by stopping Boots giving you 4 different bits of paper as well as your receipt every time you buy something

..and the receipts you get at the self-serve terminals at WH Smiths. Even folded over, they poke out when you slip them into the one magazine you've bought.
