Oh look there's the exactly build train as the one going the other way. Mental. More mental than that - bus spotters. Saw them standing at the entrance to the Grand National a few years ago and my mind is still currently blown.

When my dad was a bus mechanic they used to have bus spotters hovering round the workshop with their wee notebooks or whatever. They'd pop up at all times, early in the morning and late at night, presumably in case they'd manage to sneak in a special bus under the cover of darkness.

Jan Vojáček
Just now, The Moonster said: Yes, definite OFTW. I think there are two types to be fair. OFTW and high-functioning autism. There is a guy in Milngavie who is autistic and is clearly just mad for buses. I used to see him quite a lot photographing them at the station. Anyone without that excuse should probably be put on a little register of their own.

Stellaboz
Ordered a screen protector for my phone, having ordered the wrong one previously. So not only took the wrong one off and it did that thing where it slips under your finger nail for a split second and jabs you. It's not painful anymore but I'm aware of it constantly now. Annoying. Now I put the correct one on the phone and despite cleaning the screen, there's a tiny cat hair now stuck under the screen protector.

Serves you right for not having a normal-size cat like other people.
invergowrie arab
It's not petty, I'm seething. Most of my day has been spent acting as an intermediary between the people I pay money to for my car insurance, the people who actually underwrite my car insurance and the person who crashed into my empty car 6 months ago insurance as its in none of their interests apparently ro lift a finger to resolve it.

Who is your insurance with? The only time anything like this has happened with us is when the wife crashed our car 2 years ago. She was with Privilege and they were great.

Maybe a clue in the title I should learn from next time. TBF I'm not annoyed with the Third Party insurer. It's not their job. It's the "aye we have your money but we actually don't provide the insurance so tough shite" that fucks me off. Presumably anyone can just set up as an intermediary. I might do it

Ok on price too.

You should have just gone straight to the 3rd Partys Insurer and claimed directly. If they are 100% at fault no brainer, then they are usually happy to deal with you directly. Keeps the cost of all these car hire pirate, ambulance chasing feckers down that were probably employed by your insurer. DiegoDiego
Large initial letters on the top of spice bottles.A nice idea until you realise that half of them begin with the letter c: coriander (ground and seeds), cumin (ground and seeds), chilli (mild, hot and crushed), cayenne pepper, cloves (whole and ground), caraway seeds, curry leaves, curry powder (mild and hot), Chinese five spice, Cajun spice, cardamom (pods and ground)...

Easy answer to this conundrum. Get your feckin' spices out of the drawer and into a rack like a normal human being.
jamamafegan
Had a veggie burger for tea tonight and it was absolutely shite. A disgusting excuse for a burger patty. It was a “soya and wheat burger” made by Wicked. Only reason I bought it was because it was in the reduced section and thought I’d give it a go. Never again. I can’t bring myself to finish it and I’m still hungry so might need to head out and buy something else.

I'd much rather pay a little more and know that when I come to claim they're actually going to pay.
