Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

Recommended Posts

It's probably been said before, but the convoluted and pretentious portmanteaux dog breeds are getting a bit out of hand.

Spotted a lovely big pooch today and on enquiring what it was the owner told me.

Golden Doodle.

A cross of Golden retriever and poodle.

Not a golden poodle, nope. So not even a proper portmanteau.

Golden. Doodle.

Hanging's too good etc.

In my client list I have a golden doodle, an Irish doodle, several labradoodles, couple of cockapoos, & a cavapoo.

Mongrels, in my day, back when all this were fields, you know...

in the 90's that's a mongrel

people paying extra for a ''broon dug'' because they call it chocolate is still something that annoys me.

If an Irish doodle is part Irish wolfhound then there's either a poodle walking about looking smug or a poodle walking about looking surprised ..

I'd imagine it's an Irish Setter.

It is, in fact, part Irish Wolfhound.

Here she is, I think she's also part Wookie.

Just seen a guy jogging approaching a pedestrian crossing, he looks right and left and starts to cross. An ambulance comes up with lights and sirens on and instead of stopping and retreating back he carries on crossing giving the ambulance a wave.

Hope your jogging gives you a fatal coronary, ya entitled p***k.

I went out to a lovely place near north Berwick with the kids to pick sunflowers and go for a walk, after we’d picked the sunflowers and before the walk i took the flowers back to the car and left them on the dashboard and by the time we got back from the walk they were wilted and droopy. I’m pretty sure they are dead.
