Bairnardo
There's an advert for some motivational bollocks that keeps popping up on here that says "SWITCH ON YOUR AMBITION" and it makes me want to soak my face in batter and stick it in a deep fat fryer just so I never have to read it again.I'd have brown sauce, salt and vinegar with this.
MONKMAN
Nightshift is shite. Granted quieter but shite. Sleeping pattern now all to f**kI’m currently just about to start nightshift 8 of 22. Luckily, I spend most of my nightshift either sleeping or watching tv.

Sounds like a weird shift pattern, in the olden days it was one week days, one week nights, then two weeks off. Did 6 weeks on, two weeks off abroad for a bit, can't remember how the nights and day shifts worked out. For a train driver's salary I would. I've worked night shifts in the past. Started and finished shifts at every hour on the clock. I know they are shite. But, and this is my point, the main reason for having to do so is that we live in a 24/7 society. If we expect people to start and finish work at all hours of the day then they should, within reason, be able to get to and from work on public transport. welshbairn
Reminds of the time when Sunday was the one day in the week when most friends and families could get together, and it turned out what they all really wanted to do is go shopping, so get these c***s back to work. 24/7 is for the unlucky few, lets keep it that way or reduce it. More often than not I'll be on a floating shift, getting woken up at some point in the 'night' for a few hours and then getting told to go back to get a nights sleep after working X hours. Sometimes I don't even know whether I'm eating breakfast, lunch or dinner, which is made worse in the winter when it seems to be constantly dark. I'm presuming that not many people end up having a choice of steak pie or lasagne for breakfast.

(Also I have moved house in the last twenty minutes so you cant use any photos I have posted here to track me down.)
