I've always thought the snooker would be improved by having ultras and flares.
They did do something along those lines if I recall, played with just 6 reds and a timer and got a load of drunkards to crowd round the table on bar stools with free reign on chanting and heckles. Quite enjoyable to watch even if just for the novelty factor.

Even better if one of the drunkards puts his money on the edge of the table to challenge the winner.
