Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

Recommended Posts

Customer service c***s, be it on the phone or in person that cannot pronounce my surname. I have had boochan, buickin and even the wifey in next despite having the word “buchan” on the order infront of her, still called me mr buchanan which i get quite regularly. It’s not a hard name to pronounce, i really don’t get why people can’t get it right.

I was at the Pink gig tonight (she’s some performer). It was a total treat  at £70 ticket.  So why do people then get so blasted they’re escorted out before the support act finishes?

also large groups of woman.

My wife came home from the spice girls and said exactly the same thing.

Probably people of a certain generation. It's really not that long ago that female managers were referred to as that as well as female actors being called actresses.
Do the Oscars not still use the term actress?

It's only recently I've noticed people challenging this. But manageress is certainly a dated term.

Got an infection around an impacted wisdom tooth so took a couple of pain killers and retired for a lie down in the bedroom for half an hour.

One of the neighbours is cleaning out his car with "Keep Breathing" by Ingrid Michaelson spewing on repeat from his car radio.

Wondering what the likely sentence would be for creative use of hoover attachments as murder weapons

That always confuses me, don't get me wrong I am always utterly melted at Gigs & Festivals but when I see people sparkled on the ground at 3 o clock in the afternoon then I do not really get the point of that after spending so much on the ticket in the first place. Completely mad behaviour.

It happens every weekend tbf. I don't understand how grown adults don't know their limit. Even at 15 I knew when to stop drinking. I was out a few weeks back and knew one more drink would send me into memory blank territory.

It's worse when you see men being held up by their partner. Complete c***s.

I’m eating lunch in a new to me Indian restaurant. At another table sits a family with a boy who I’m guessing can only be about 10 or 11 years old. He has his hair in a man-bun (a boy-bun?).

This is spoiling my enjoyment of an otherwise excellent meal.
