Cheerio First and hello to Abellio. Looking forward to the "new" and improved trains between Aberdeen and Inverness which, erm, don't come into service until 2018...

Not many decent tickets left. All the popular routes went pretty quickly.

They could sack some staff and free up money for more. You could hardly get in and out of Queen Street and Central today for legions of customer service advisors loitering in front of the ticket gates and generally getting in the road.

Yeah. Sack some of the lowest earning staff in the company. That'll sort it.

Are abellio covering all of Scotlands services? Do they all come into action in 2018? Know next to nothing about this

They now run all ScotRail services that First did apart from the sleepers that ate now run by Serco.

East Coast trains is now Stagecoach using the Virgin trains brand name. The west coast is a 51/49% Virgin/Stagecoach split and Cross-country trains is run by Arriva(part of DB).

you can only go from dundee to montrose or arbroath.

disgusting way to treat customers.

Too right. I wouldn't send my harshest critic to Montrose.

Managed to get Stirling-Montrose as we play them in a couple of weeks. Can't grumble.

Cool mate, cheers. Hopefully a better train service from now on. Will it be cheaper for the customer too?
