djchapsticks
I don't think there is a single supporter anywhere who wouldn't be screaming for that against their own team though. That's first time I've seen ref overruling VAR. Hopefully not the last.
CaspianChris
A ref going to the VAR monitor and after reviewing the footage standing by his on field decision. That is very good to see.
houston_bud
County had been the better side but haven't been dangerous. Thistle just coming into it now. I don't think that's a penalty. It's a coming together, neither player had the ball. Fair play to Nick Walsh for sticking to his guns.
Dirty Sanchez
Walker: "I've never felt it's a good look, looking at still images." While we're looking at replays of moving images.

Felt absolutely terrible that I found myself agreeing with him
PrestersKTID
overturned decision after going to the monitor. Doesn’t happen very often
Aim Here
Football history has been made. A ref hasn't changed his mind after viewing the monitor.
Ludo*1
Fair play to Nick Walsh. Always had him down as one of the poorer refs but takes some guts to go against the people on VAR after you're sent to the monitor. Good decision.

Lofarl
Right. Now give a really soft one at the other end for a laugh.

tarapoa
Well done Walsh. Would be great if this was the beginning of the end of some of these nonsense penalties.

Donathan
Don't think I've ever seen a ref get sent to the monitor and then stick by his original decision. Not in Scotland or anywhere else.
VictorOnopko
Never a pelanty but the ref can still f8ck off.

DrewDon
I can't believe that Greg Aitken watched that on VAR and decided it was a 'clear and obvious error' not to give a penalty. It should have just taken him one or two looks at it to tell Walsh to play on. I don't like VAR and would rather we didn't have it, but they really don't help themselves with how they use it sometimes.
