A cracking player and suspect he would definitely have gone if we hadn't been promoted. Will be interesting to see if he resigns now.

What's the situation with your playing squad, mostly part time?

Think I remember you boys going for a hybrid model a few seasons ago.

As @Diamond Oracle says it's full time for the vast majority, we have a few part timers, L1 POTY Calum Gallagher being an example. Think it was done with the fact in mind that when we were in L1 the very best Part Timers tend to be better than the bottom end of the FT market. We'll be retaining a good few of our current squad but will absolutely need to strengthen in a couple of key positions, particularly LB and a CB.

Led to believe it is only one PT player in Gallagher,    The Hybrid training apparently puts some players off,  most full time players want to train week day mornings with a wed off for example,   AIrdrie train full time Monday morning , Tuesday night,  Off Wed,  Thursday night and Friday morning, and   the 2 night sessions suit the Part tiners(1) and the Under 18 Academy lads who train also,   it seems to work,  under 18s  have won the league and obviously we have just won the playoff....

Stephen Boyd has left us.

No he hasn't. We're not going to be releasing anyone ahead of the Scottish Cup Final unless they do a Riccardo Calder.

We've been linked with  2 goalkeepers - Fulton of Accies and Jamie Sneddon.

Nicky Low was supposed to sign for us in January but that didn't work out. Unsure if that could happen over the summer.

Not heard anything else at the moment

Nicky low has signed for us for next season(clydebank)

Mon the papers

Airdrie have released Lachie Byrd, Euan Deveney, Joe Dixon and Jay Riley. Player retained are Rhys McCabe, Callum, Fordyce, Cammy Ballantyne, Justin Devenny, Calum Gallagher, Lewis McGregor and Josh Rae. Discussions still ongoing with Aaron Taylor-Sinclair, Craig Watson, Charlie Telfer, Adam Frizzell, Gabby McGill and Calum Smith. Murray Aiken and Josh O'Connor have signed on loan for the season from Hibernian. No mention of them but Dean McMaster and Ben Stanway have returned to their parent clubs.

Dunfermline released Nikolay Todorov, Kevin O'Hara and Kyle Macdonald.

And everyone who was offered new terms has accepted.

We've also signed Kane Richie-Hosler permanently from Rangers following a successful loan last season.

He'll be cracking at this jebelo

I’m not sure what a jebelo is but Big Daddy Kane RH was a very welcome but unexpected signing treat. Sure he could have made way more money down south but chose to stay where he felt welcome and said how much he has learned under McPake and Dave MacKay.

Haha that's a wild, wild misspelling of "level" from me!

Fully expect 2 or 3 to be released/mutual termination. Ashford and Bangala top of that list.
