Why would that matter? Worst case scenario we embarrass them again next season.

Purely the irony of laughing at ayrs "best season in while" whilst still possibly being relegated twice in 3 years

Just think, if we'd not scored an equaliser in the later part of the last game of the season...

YOU could have been stinking up the play-offs.

With respect ..... every team will choose ANY game where they think....if only.

For me......it was the game against Dundee when we were 1-3 up with 10 mins to go and contrived to secure a 3-3 draw.

Its not meant to be fair. Ayr were 2nd, Thistle were 4th. Ayr deserve any advantage being at home for the 2nd leg gets. All hypothetical of course as this is a pumping

Yeah, but he's referring to the finals in play-offs.

Massive consolation for understandably dejected Ayr fans is that instead of slashing their wrists, they can all end their misery by heading up to that dodgy kebab place on the corner of Heathfield Road which has been shut down about 50 times by environmental health inspectors. I'm told that the deep-fried battered rat and microwaved Arab's flip-flop are especially tasty. You needs lots of mayo, though.

One of those games now where losing by 4 or 6/7 no one really gives a f**k. 10 men supposed to be attacking, game done, key forward sent off, cant defend, Thistle fans gloat, the rest is done.

Even at 7-0 on aggregate, it's a case of "ach well, at least they didn't do a Dumbarton and concede them all in the first leg 😆".

Mad that Reading and McCalister haven't been subbed here.  Job at half time was to not get pumped and he kept two guys getting absolutely rinsed on

Back to coaching children in Sheffield.

You get the feeling Patrick may come to rue these missed chances

A couple of snookers and an away goal, and Ayr are right back in it...

Context has to be taken into account for the red card. If Akinyemi had just walked up to Muirhead and done that I'd say it's a red. However he's being held around the neck and it's clearly an attempt (albeit a slightly aggressive one) to get him off and away from him.

It's not as 'never a red card in a million years' as people are making out but there's enough mitigation there to be a yellow.

It's all utterly irrelevant anyway, Ayr were 4-0 down and looked hopeless, it was already game over. It would take a brass neck for Bullen to use it as an excuse.
