Hope they come down as it’s a anew venue and I think they’d fine the LL is a better product than L2.

That should be the priority for the LL committee and teams. Make it the best it can be. That starts with 2 down. I don’t think 3 as the SOS is about second bottom of WOS standard.

At least automatic promotion to LL exists, co congrats by the way.  Also depending on circumstances,  can be two relegations,  tho that would be to make place for a relegated Team 42.

On the other hand Spartans are still two games away from promotion,  having won their League and played Brechin twice, so maybe some grounds for complaint there.

Also that nonsense has been kicked up the road for about 7/8 years with vague promises to " review the situation,  which continues today, so maybe some more grounds there.

Despite all of that sensing a mood change on this within LL so maybe a more conciliatory tone from Tiers below might help move things forward

Blame above for promotion woes, that's fair enough.

But having a go at the tiers below for an issue you solely control, come on man get real. I always love the way posters pick and choose to suit their point. Yes 2 can be relegated but let's not forget there is a scenario where there is no relegation.

But to be a tad more conciliatory;

It doesn't. A tier 6 champion can only be promoted if they either win a play-off or the other two tier 6 champions are unlicensed. There is no position in tier 6 where, at the start of the season, you can say, finish here and you will be promoted (as long as you're licensed).

That's what automatic promotion is.

There is automatic relegation from the LL. Not automatic promotion into it.

The promotion/relegation beteen tiers 5/4 and 5/6 are both a farce.
