😳

”meaningless”, you say??

Apparently not to you………..

I’ve some nice fresh grapes here if you want ‘em - yours seem remarkably sour.

The result was absolutely meaningless for us. The refereeing performance was concerning and rightly being called out.

Grapes bantz pretty weak.

If Raith won yesterday, they'd be three points behind Morton with a chance of finishing 6th - not really meaningless with pride and prize money to play for.

The end result made it meaningless now, correctly had we won we were still in the hunt for 1 spot higher and the better prize money but for most Raith fans and it seems players the season's done.  As said we've finished the season where we deserved to and we can bitch and moan about too many injuries and poor referees until the cows come home, most Rovers fans knew at the end of last season where the deficiencies in the squad lay, those weren't addressed and we made the same mistakes again. Poor recruitment on too many levels.

I cant get too exited about yesterday's outcome though I think Rovers deserved something from the game, if not necessarily 3 points then maybe worthy of a draw, the only factor to gainsay that was the no away shot's on target issue. Morton after a bright start were fairly honking, I'd doubt many Ton fans would honestly say they were anything other. Less said about Mr McFarlane the better.

See you all next season.

In the opening stages we should have been 2 or 3 goals up, the onus was then on Raith to get something back. Other than the shot off the bar, you failed to do anything with the space afforded to you.

Then our manager made some effective changes to close the game out - we didn't need to play silky football to do so.

In conclusion then, Raith deserved nothing from the game and nobody in the home end will be concerned about the level of performance.

Come on bawheid just be honest, Morton couldn't play football never mind silky stuff on that showing, that you saw the game out in any manner at all was due to Rovers complete inability and ineffectiveness around goal rather than what was in front of them.

Already looking forward to reading more of your pish in this league next season.

Still, at least you're taking it well.

If you want to see football then you need look no further than the Morton move that completely dismantled your defence for the goal. And the total bodying that followed from which you were fortunate not to be 2 or 3 goals down. The performance level significantly dropped after that, but to gurn about no football played at all by the home team is utter nonsense.

As for inability in front of goal, you'd need to create chances first and Raith's opportunity to do so was pretty effectively cut off once your favourite player Gillespie was brought on.

Meaningless yesterday of course, but WTF is the referee doing with Langs imaginary hand ball and Vaughans 2nd yellow? Even the Morton roasters in the stand didn't know what he was up to, running the length of the pitch to pull him away from the edge of the box when he's waiting for a free kick.

Ref obviously can't hack it at this (shite) level.

Anyway, funny Morton celebrating the reds when it means we'll have even fewer players to play Ayr who will finish above them.

Seems meaningless to you with that rant, it’s Sunday now cheer up pal
