I meant that its weird that they feel today is such a fantastic result, perhaps their best going by the reaction...strange bunch, kinda cute, would play again.

Not a fantastic result for them today but would say it was a fantastic performance. They dominated the majority of that game and, presumably, had they played like all season, they'd have won the league by now.

However, their best performance against us only saw a draw, after going two up. We were lucky to make second gear today, yet still got a draw. Falkirk had a great chance to force at least some sort of challenge today but blew it against a deeply poor Pars team.

At last. Someone without comprehension problems.

I mean, I have pointed out before... Several of your fans (for some bizarre reason, including on this thread) have proclaimed Airdrie a better team than us, despite the league positions saying otherwise

Couldn't agree more, the league table doesn't lie at all, same as last year and the year before when we were a better football team than yourselves by pretty huge margins despite you being the "big guns" in L1, but it's not the case now, no siree. Unless that is, we overhaul the big lead you had over us last month and then eventually overtake you before the end of the season, but that couldn't happen surely, because you know we're in terrible form and you're burning down teams that stand in your path. No. Wait...

If we lose in Airdrie in 2 weeks time it will an absolute coincidence.

Based on what I've seen, Airdrie are better than Falkirk.  It's not that wild given how close it is, the current form and the fact that Airdrie would be challenging if the hadn't had a run of 1 point from 5 games in October.

It's also fair to say, that was due to injuries to key players, so shows that they would have needed a good bit of luck to sustain it for the whole season.

Same could maybe be said of us. If we'd lost Bene, Mehmet, Todd and Edwards for a month, we'd have struggled.

We didn't though and we're 11 points clear with 5 games to go.  That's all that really matters to me. I don't really care if I'm proven correct or not on the topic of who finishes 2nd.

I thought for 33 minutes we were worse than we were against Airdrie...then 12 minutes of better play and unlucky to go in 3-2 up.

For all Falkirk played well we still didn't lose and MCGlyn can say all he wants it's a game of fine margins and he missed his....

Falkirk are in the Scottish Cup semi....good for them...we'll be talking about it next season when we're in the Championship....oh wait 👀👀🤔

Thought we were really unlucky not to win today. Our shape was much better with Burrell in from the start, and Kennedy dropped who was totally ineffective against the Pars in the previous two fixtures. Worked hard, passed it well and forced a previously unflappable Dunfermine side in to mistakes. Then a crazy 10 minutes before half time undid all that good work, which was frustrating.

The second half Dunfermline seemed to settle for a point, we tried to break them down and failed to score again - similar vibes to the last game at TFS, at least we created some chances this time. Would need to see the highlights but looked like a clear handball from Benedictus in the box? Certainly havent had the rub of the green from penalties this season but you make your own luck I suppose. We'd probably just have found a way to conceded again anyway.

You've got to give credit to Dunfermline. They just seem to have this absolute desire and focus not to lose, whereas our inconsistency has plagued us all season. Not sure if it comes from the players or managers or a mixture of both. Deserved league winners anyway. Hopefully we can find a way past Airdrie and Hamilton and come up with you.

Fair play to Matty Wright who somehow manages to look more and more shite and uninterested every time he plays for us, I'd send him back to Ross County now. In contrast Kucherayvi with another deserved MotM, he is going to be some player and you'd fancy him to stroll in to that St Johnstone side next season.

The only other thing I would add was the hilarious police presence from today. Totally, totally over the top. It's a football match between two scottish league 1 clubs, not world war 3 ffs. Was the same for the last game at EEP, must be costing our clubs a fortune for that farce.

I found it bzarre that both times Falkirk scored the police came scampering out in front of us....did they expect us to rush down and jump the barriers because you scored?

Then again at full time?

Jesus, it's the 3rd tier of Scottish football....

We had around 200 Pars fans in 4 buses at the White Gates, and the Police presence was way over the top. There were 4 polis transits and 2 polis bikes escorting us to the match. Fuckin madness.

To be fair, we haven’t been struggling at this level for the last 5 years. Pars fans wouldn’t class winning this division as a massive achievement. Says it all that you seem to think it is, diddy club mentality.

At least we will have a title party get it up yous

Despite the rivalry I can’t think of many occasions where things have gotten out of hand.

Only time I got caught up in a scuffle was when the supporters were changing ends at half time at Brockville in season 78-79!

Police numbers and choreographed posing was just silly today.
