Experiences of Female Football Fans at Men's Football Matches

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I'm part of a group of undergraduate students who are studying the experiences of female football fans at men's football matches. This is a very relevant topic at the moment, with teams up and down the UK wearing #HerGameToo t-shirts to warm up. We're aware that, whilst inclusivity has improved massively of late, there is still a way to go for football spectorship to feel like an inclusive space for all.

Therefore, I'm asking if any female football fans would be willing to chat to us and share their experiences of watching men's game - positive or negative, we want to hear it all! We'll be in Glasgow between the 28th-31th March, and so if you'd be able to conduct an in-person interview in that time, we'd really appreciate that! If not, we'd also be able to talk online via zoom.

If you'd be interested in this, please just leave a comment, and hopefully we can get in contact. If you know anybody who isn't on this forum who might be interested, we'd love to talk to anyone possible. We believe that this is such an important topic, and hopefully the more experiences we can research, more light can be shone on the topic.

Thank you for your help in advance!
