Didn't win for a month and only had 2 wins by the end of the season. Which means nothing. Home win or draw. He got away with a lot because as you say, would sweet talk the fans and he had (still has imo) legendary status as a cup winning captain, Aberdeen fans were never going to take to his teams playing style or be that bit more patient with him because he had no affiliation with their club. tarapoa Posted March 3, 2023 Share Posted March 3, 2023 (edited) I was looking forward to seeing what Robson could do with this team in a 'winnable' away match tomorrow, but it now feels like a bit of a circus. However, hopefully we can see a professional job for a change - there have not too many of them away from home this season. Despite that - the way football works, means it's now in the tea leaves that we lose this game regardless.
