Dont understand the obsession with playing Maeda every game.

He runs himself into the ground which let's the Celtic back line up the park. That and players in Scotland get exceptionally very edgy when players dare close them down.

Can't complain about the red unfortunately. Clearly outside the box though, shouldnt need that long to check

Is there not this thing about checking if the foul is "continuing in to the box" in which case it could be a pen but correct decision in the end. Just soooooo fkn long.

Yep, it was clear on the first replay they showed that it didn't though. Just needless time spent IMO

Edit: more than happy that it was overturned without him running to the monitor for another 5 minutes

HT 1-0
Enjoyable stuff indeed. We've been superb and are deservedly 1-0 up against them at half time again IMO. Why that penalty wasn't given right away I have no idea, the bizarre two minute period afterward before VAR gave it was bizarre. Celtic players seemed to know the pen was coming and were trying to keep it in play long enough that it would somehow be forgotten about.
Sad blot is the red card. Dunne had been playing well but he does have those errors in him after the duffed pass back he shouldn't be fouling him.
They have been targeting our left hand side but Small has done excellently thus far. Taylor is not as good as Dunne so I expect that targeting to continue second half.
Even if we do end up getting humped again here, at least we've given them another fright, which is more than anyone else in the league seems capable of doing.
Take a point.

They had to check it was a red too. Was Kyogo getting to the ball before the keeper?

For me it is about the same as the one on Van Veen yesterday. If the is no foul and the attacker gets a clear run they would get the ball first.
