Can't argue with him from an Alloa point of view, but the 2nd was a cracking ball in and hard to defend against.

Agreed. Second goal isn't in the same category as the first from a defensive point of view. It is, as you say, a cracking cross in open play and O'Hara meets it perfectly. A really good goal.

Watched the highlights and still none the wiser how the first goal went in.

I think Hamilton heads it and Wighton deflects it in with his shoulder/arm

Breen's back - Hamilton's header - Wighton's hand

Was told tonight that Wighton gestured that it hit his hand to his teammates by someone in the Alloa support over that side and certainly looked that way in the replay. Unfortunate because we were having a decent spell at that point of the game.

In the match day stills it looks like it hit his arm, but the bit covered by his sleeve so no problem with that.

The ball was shoulder height, and his arms were tucked in. If anything it brushed off his shoulder.

Actually if anything that confirms it's a handball. Not that any of our players claimed for it or any referee would spot it in open play but it's the armpit not the sleeve that makes it a handball. Bit too low for an armpit...

Under the rules the goal should've been dissalowed going by that picture.

That's the wrong way round isn't it? It used to be the armpit but now it's some kind of vague theoretical armband type position. The ball hit a Bournemouth player on the upper arm in yesterday's game at the Emirates and the VAR didn't give a penalty even though it clearly hit the arm below the shoulder.

Not really sure about the Bournemouth one as I didn't watch it but you can't score from a handball whether it's accidental or incidental or what. It should have been disallowed.

If it's hitting him where his shirt sleeve is, then that diagram would incidicate it could easily be given even if a VAR was looking at it. If it hits his bare arm or elbow then it would have been chalked off. Handball law needs to be sorted out regardless.

SFA rules states a goal won't stand even if it hits the hand or arm accidentally.

It's all irrelevant as it's not conclusive it even hits his arm/sleeve. It's a side on angle so it could go past it and not touch.

Shit happens then you die
