I realise your entire gimmick on here is being needlessly antagonistic at every given opportunity, but this is embarrassing patter.

Funny how you don't like it when that ambition becomes reality, though. I don't blame you, to be frank; you recognize that it's a matter of time before your wee club is down in the third or fourth tier, and becomes even less relevant than it already has been for your entire life.

Fingers crossed that happens sooner rather than later.

Bless - you hate to see it happen.  🤡

Let's all hope and pray that this disgusting bubble bursts soon and this pipe dream goes up in an almighty blaze.

Can't wait to watch them beg the SFA for handouts in the not too distant future.

Horrible little club.

How many millions have your team spunked trying to get to the top league?

Last time you were in the top league was Ritchie not still playing for you?

Horrible little club! 😂

We win that game nine times out of ten. Can look at ourselves for the goals, but it’s not a factor if the officials do their job. Anything else I say about dropping points to a rugby team on three occasions will simply sound like sour grapes.

Apart from you don't win that game "Nine times out ten"

One point from Big, bad, physical Morton all season long.

Let’s take a moment to reflect on this post.

Molotov is more than likely standing in St. Mirren’s wee shoebox, with his team leading the best team in the land 1-0, but down to ten men and is using his 15 minutes of respite to come onto P&B to post about Morton, a club that he claimed a few weeks ago he didn’t give a toss about.

In no way is he for the watching, not at all.

Get our act together... how exactly? Morton started the season with almost certainly the lowest budget in the division (expanded now) - it is a fan-owned club with a necessity to break even this and every other financial year from now on. We've got our act together and will see where it might take us this season. And hopefully next season will further build on the highly encouraging foundations created this time round.

By contrast, Queens Park are a Walter Mitty outfit throwing money around that you do not even remotely generate, squatting behind Syngenta at Stenny's ground with a handful of fans in attendance. Your club can't even complete the basic admin to stop yourselves being huckled out of the Scottish Cup, and treats its fanbase with open contempt.

So your 'why don't you just bankrupt your own club to stop our Govanhill Gretna project' argument is by far the most stupid take on this thread. And that's really saying something.

It was a joke mate. I'll remember to add an explanatory footnote for the hard of thinking next time.

None of which detracts from the point that you’re a tragic loser, hotshot.

Another monster swirling goth here, folks.

This thread, fucking hell.

We should have put that game to bed before Morton finally capitalised on the chances they created, but that disallowed goal for Eze is possibly the worst decision in any QP game this season. I know some other posters have said "these things balance out" etc but it doesn't feel like it right now.

As for the usual heads gone comments over Queen's Park, delicious as always.

Reviewed my position at half-time yesterday: very happy with a point.

Also happy to say that, if we can’t win it, I’d prefer even Dundee (just let that sink in, as they say) over a club managed by the greeting, tinpot wankstain that is Owen Coyle.

Why are some Morton fans on P&B in a state of permanent seethe? You'd think they'd be happy with a fightback from 2-0 down, but no, on and on they rage. Worse than Dundee, maybe even rivalling The Rangers for tears and snotters tantrums. You're right up there in a promotion race guys, so lighten up and let's have a smile!

🙂

As above, I’m very happy with the point.

 Thanks (again).

That has to be one of the worst refereeing decisions I’ve ever seen. Completed robbed a third goal there. Video is better but just look at the screenshot, the Morton players is wrapped round Eze… what on earth did the referee see there? He was awful all game.

If that's one of the worst decisions you have ever seen, you haven't watched much football.

Completely agree. Shocking refereeing. What was he thinking. Appalling decision.

Elbowed the defender in the face AND scored with his hand. A thug and a cheat.

Completely agree. Should have been a red card.

So... if teams let QP play, they'll go on to win the league; but the weaknesses are there for all to see... full-backs who want to be forward not defending; centre-backs with questionable positional sense; and a goalkeeper who is no more than adequate.

Our set up in the first half meant that Boateng and Thomson were able to dominate the middle of the park and funnel the ball to the front four (who are very good), with Robson and Oakley just running past the combined defensive abilities of Robbie Muirhead and Calvin Miller out wide. Add in hesitant defending at the edge of the box and that's where you get the goals (as opposed to any particularly brilliant play).

When Gillespie came on the midfield closed up and, although the full-backs were still getting as much freedom, there was a punishment because we had two right up top, with first Ali then Robbie Crawford in support at the tip of the diamond.

It should be very clear to opposing managers by now how to beat QP; it's just as clear, though, how to lose to them. Yesterday should be the training video, so it will be interesting to see how the run of three games at home pans out... think that's where you'll win or lose it.

As for the penalty, I think we've got lucky, not because of terrible refereeing, but because it looks as though the ball might have gone in off his hand; that on top of referee/linesman wondering if there was a foul looks to have swayed it.

Last word is for the poor fucker who has to edit the highlights and somehow filter out Coyle's incessant high-pitched squealing any time anybody goes near one of his players; that last cut right on the final whistle says it all...

Like Morton, QP are also fan owned and we generate our income the same as any other fan owned club - Sponsorship, prize money, player transfers, gate receipts etc ... and also donations from fans, season ticket holders and members.

It just so happens that one of our long standing members is a multi millionaire  who decided to donate a lot more than the rest of us.

We're just lucky I guess 😉

Talking to us about points hahahaha deary me, put the Stella and needles down and check the table boys.

That alky Imrie is probably a perfect fit for Morton when I reflect actually.

You've been floating around Championship and L1 for years, we're having a title push in our first season in this league, the Morton bitterness and rage is magic.

😳 Wow, I know this thread has plummeted to to the depths but (apart from the Molotov cock tales, obviously) this has to be one of the worst. To still be spouting Trump-style shite the day after the game is ridiculous enough, but the guff about Stella, needles and alkies - honestly, have a word with yerself. You've just taken your first point of the season from Morton, albeit it's taken you till March to do it - you should be at least reasonably content to still be clear at the top of the division at the moment.

And that last paragraph.......   you didn't think that through at all, did you? Queens Park have been stinking out the lower divisions for more than a century now; it's taken a millionaire Celtic fan adopting you as his pet project of the day to  get you where you are right now.  Without his cash you'd still be grubbing about in League Two.  Getting to the top of the Championship at this stage has clearly given you delusions of grandeur, as well as a nosebleed, whereas after the last couple of seasons Morton fans are delighted to be fan-owned, debt free and in with a good chance of reaching the playoffs. The "bitterness" and "rage" you speak of is all your own work.  Seek help, sunshine.
