I’m not convinced going back to Levein is the right call. It’s 14 years since he left, his record since is average at best, and it’s a considerable time since he was doing the job day to day.

On the other hand, he’s still fucking light years ahead of the other candidates

eil Lennon has reportedly ruled himself out of the running to become new Dundee United manager.

It's claimed the former Celtic and Hibs manager is not interested in the vacant post at Tannadice.

Lennon - who was last in the dugout at Omonia Nicosia in Cyprus - is thought to be interested in a return to management but it won't be at United.

In other news, I have ruled myself out of being Beyonce's next husband

Given that his last three teams have been Celtic, Hibs, and a Cypriot mob who play in green and white with a shamrock on their shirt, bit surprised he's not keen to go to Dundee Hibernian tbh.

Looks like it's Goodwin. It's undoubtedly a step up from Fox, and at least Asghar is now away, but Goodwin is a preening bell-end. Disappointing conclusion having got my hopes up re. the return of Sir Craig. Gig is just until the end of the season apparently so at least we can bin him and start again in the summer.

reverse psychology.  like it.

In all seriousness, having never lived through the Jim McLean era, Levein presided over the biggest gap between the two Dundee sides in my lifetime and he set them up for years worth of stability thereafter as well. And they had Craig Brewster just before he was appointed last time.

I would not like to see him return to Tannadice regardless of how many year he's been out the game.
