Scottish Cup 23 Quarter-Final Draw

Draw takes place on Monday 13th February 5:30pm.

Ayr United

Darvel/ Falkirk

Inverness CT

Raith Rovers

Kilmarnock

Hearts

Partick Thistle/ Rangers

Celtic

Feels like many years since half the 1/4 final teams were from outside the top league. Anyone any idea when the last time was?

Makes for an interesting competition for the neutral, be great if the draw threw up the top 4 in the list above together in two of the ties, and the bottom four in the other two, guaranteeing semi finals for a couple of lower league sides.

Would like to see Raith, Darvel or Partick win the competition this season…

I'd take anyone apart from Rangers or Celtic at home. Much as a trip to Tynecastle is always a smashing day out, I'd prefer not to have Hearts away, and if we got Ayr I'd prefer to play the game at Rugby Park. Would also like the OF to draw each other for obvious reasons.

Darvel / Falkirk / Ayr at home for a chance to play at Hampden, either of the arse cheeks away for the cash, prefer the blue side as far too many empty seats in cup ties on the other side of the town.

Hopefully the erse cheeks draw each other so anyone at home

Come on lads, we all know it won’t happen, so why even hope for it. You just know it’ll be Rangers at home and Celtic away somewhere, just not Ibrox. It’s why the Celtic ball is cooled down…draw the first home team, if it’s not Rangers, pull the cool ball…if it is, pull any other, then draw the cool ball for the next away team.

If you are unlucky enough to draw either of the ugly sisters then you're basically Friar Tucked (even for Hearts sadly) ... so in that case you should hope to get them at either Govan or Parkheid to maximise the £££££s - harsh but pragmatism required folks.

Agree, don’t want either of them however if we do take the blue arse away because the green one would absolutely pump us and also from a financial point of view the blue ones bring a far bigger support to home games in the cup.

Anyone know who makes the final VAR decision for matches is it home teams/joint? In my opinion some 'questionable' decisions made in the OF's games but they were both at home. After seeing that VAR for the cup costs circa £10k - if one of the OF are drawn away, can Caley, Ayr, Raith etc al say 'f**k off we don't want' and and refuse to pay without being bullied into using it by the OF just paying ass clearly it was beneficial in both games (so cash well spent I'd say!!!)
