The semi finals are almost here :-

Glenafton Athletic v Cumnock Juniors - Friday 14th April 2023 - Meadow Park, Irvine - 7.30pm

Rutherglen Glencairn v East Craigie - Sunday 16th April 2023 - Volunteer Park, Armadale - 2pm

That’s when everyone was in it though.

it’s devalued now with virtually no east clubs and a few west teams not involved.

Trophy should be in the Hampden museum along with a history of a dead association.

It was originally at Beechwood but the police asked for it to be moved.

You are correct, because we felt it was a competition too far with 38 league fixtures plus three other mandatory cup competitions to play in. But with the reduction in league fixtures this season we felt it was a competition that we would like to re-enter. As did Darvel.

As an extension to a question on another thread, would a club who get promoted into the LL still be able to retain SJFA membership and enter the cup?

I believe so, yes, however I don't think there is any agreement with the LL to facilitate fixtures for the SJC the way there is with the WoSFL.
