I think the basic point is it’s not about how many people go to church any more, or whether the clubs don’t now officially support sectarianism, both built their fan base on supporting it for 100 years.  

Yes world football finances have changed dramatically in the last couple of decades, but the reason Celtic and Rangers were in the position to make more out of it than any other club was because of their sectarian past - drawing support from all over Scotland and N.  Ireland.

Once again, VAR doesn't appear to be interested in looking back any further than the incident itself. Ref confirmed to SR that this wasn't picked up on or looked at.

Yup, it’s not just penalties and red cards where officials impact games.  

Giving - or not giving - ‘soft’ fouls can impact the flow/momentum of a game.  

And of course, sometimes DOES lead to a penalty and red card and complete ending the game. 

Other way around and that’s a foul to Celtic, and nobody says a word about it.

Turnbull has been poor this season but mentioning him in the same breath a Jordan Jones is just mind boggling. 

Turnbull would significantly improve any other squad in Scotland, possibly even Rangers included. 

Jones has flopped spectacularly at St. Mirren and Kilmarnock in the last 12 months.

It was more due to the fact that Jones can't be "a Scottish player the Old Firm ruined" because, well, he's an English man who played for Northern Ireland.
