We’re in even more shite than that like.

Yea, with just 12 matches left, and probably at least 13 points (due to games in hand and GD) to make up, before considering having to match whatever points total we, Morton or ICT post, your only realistic hope is overhauling Cove while staying ahead of an improving Accies. The good news is Cove were looking wretched…whoops.

Good first half where we should have been 2-0 up, followed by a bleak 2nd half where we were losing everything in midfield and our forward line was flat.

Raith were there for the taking - but 2nd half was dismall and we allowed Raith back into the game.

Raith are now out of the relegation dog fight.

You had the wind in the first half and some insanely stupid attempts at a long kick out in the first half.

Murray has had a lot of flack over the course of the season for his use of subs and just generally getting a lot of unfair (imo) criticism. Today he made the correct subs at the correct time which changed the game in our favour and deserves credit for doing so.

And firmly back in the promotion playoff fight, not that we would do much if we get there but a few extra games plus some TV cash would give us a boost

Thought it’s a very disappointing defeat it’s good to see the clown that is @clashcityrockerbeing called out for the clown he is. Anyone got any “Humble pie” for him?

I don’t know what to make of today. A few positives but overall a bitterly disappointing afternoon. Were Raith there for the taking? I’m not to sure. Even with the wind they had plenty of the ball. The Cove game is now a must win. Anything less and it’s curtains for the AFC

Actually having a range of subs to use makes a big difference!

You had the wind in your favour the first half MacDonald couldnt get his bye kicks no more than 60 yards up the park hence the huge amount of corners / possession Arbroath had in the first halve , Roles reversed second half but actually think the wind wasn’t as bad second halve IMO, Maybe Arbroath had an off day but these new signings look like recycled ones of the previous players you ditched in the transfer window . I thought Akio looked lively and will be an asset especially with his pace .

question for Arbroath fans why do your club not allow live audio /TV streaming for visiting media teams I certainly would be encourage the Rovers now to not allow Arbroath access to Starks Park

Agree with this. It definitely helped today having a range of subs we could bring on who, rather than significantly weakening us, actually allowed us to keep on attacking and creating goals. That hasn't been the case for many of our games recently with the various injuries. And as above, Murray deserves credit for making the changes to personnel and formation when he did. Hopefully Gullan and Vaughan being taken off was just a tactical/fatigue/precautionary thing.

Thought Akio looked handy when he came on and looking forward to seeing what he can do over the coming games. Wouldn't be surprised to see him starting in the Challenge Cup game midweek.

That's a significant win today. First time in  goodness knows how long since we have won after going behind and we are now 12 points ahead of 9th place. Losing would've made it all a bit nervy, especially with Cove winning.

If we'd managed to hold out for the win in a couple of the draws we have jad recently, we'd be looking at a decent shot of the playoffs.

You’re right, and I am one of those critics. Today though, when he made the subs and changed to a back three, he absolutely got it right.

That was a slugfest today, the sort of game we normally lose. A victory and level on points for a playoff space is very pleasing indeed!

No easy playing against a team of divers plus a totally incompetent referee

The Millen incident with Dow was pathetic and Millen was rightly booked but Divers your having a laugh ,

Arbroaths problem is your inept manager and his players

We don’t do any coverage for away games. Only home games
