£31 v £30 Rangers v St Johnstone

Recommended Posts

Collum sees about 4 replays of Jack lunging in from miles away, and catching a Saints player both late and at ankle height, and reckons its just a yellow.

Its a decision for the Old Firm though, so we'll just have to meekly accept it apparently.

Honestly it needs someone taking a stand and just walking off

Defender falling back off balance hand in a static position as he tries to regain balance and being hot by the ball from a ricochet from close range.... penalty rangers

Player off balance, wins and passes ball under no challenge then collides with incoming player....red card

Player at pace comes in hard from a position where momentum is at maximum connects straight on top of players ankle.......na just a yellow

I logged onto the steam late so didn't see handball properly at the time. Fucking hell. What's Brown meant to do? That's never a penalty.

What angles did VAR look at? Having seen it again a) the head flick is from a range of no more than two feet and b) how high up his arm does it hit? The check was over in seconds.

You just know that any handball, of any sort, by a defending player in the away team box at Ibrox will result in a penalty. 'It's the law'.

When you look at the similar incidents (at least 3) that they themselves have gotten away with in recent weeks it merely reinforces the perception of, at best, incompetence or... simply cheating on behalf of the institution club.

Having seen it back I can actually live with Jack’s challenge not being a red card.

However, it is clearly a more dangerous tackle than Clark’s, so if one is a red the other has to be. Clark plays the ball, is not moving at any speed given he was static then falling backwards as he makes the tackle and is pulling out of it when the contact is made.

Jack is late, running at full pelt and catches Montgomery full on the ankle at pace. It is a far worse tackle. This game is not being refereed the same way for both teams here.

Nah sorry Jamie not having that, he's travelling full pelt, dives in out of control with a straight leg and studs up, whilst coming in at ankle height. It's a red card all day long, there's no dubiety about it, under the laws it's a sending off.
