Highland Capital
Where did this James Melville character come from? I'd never heard of him until the pandemic during which he went from a more normal 'we should've locked down earlier' stance to complete far right tin foil hattery.

I'd never heard of him until the pandemic during which he went from a more normal 'we should've locked down earlier' stance to complete far right tin foil hattery. He was a prominent #FBPE merchant after the Brexit referendum. Generic, bland Brexit-is-bad type stuff; harmless, but repetitive and predictable. Seems he built a pretty hefty following from that. Eventually he'd flogged the Brexit horse enough and it was not producing the goods for him anymore, so time for something new. It happened that his next cause was one that happened to be toxic to his existing following, which presumably resulted in his head swiftly departing into orbit. Seems he just wants to pick some sort of opposition-type cause and then grift it as much as he can, like many others before him (Lawrence Fox, Jordan Peterson, Russell Brand, Katie Hopkins etc). Slightly outside of "the norm" at first, but against the status quo nonetheless. Eventually, their brains melt as they have to go deeper and deeper into extreme positions to keep themselves relevant. tamthebam
Dilbert creator Scott Adams. Apparently he was a bit right wing before but has royally f*cked up with a comment that has seen Dilbert dropped from US newspapers

More props should go to Elmo (wasn’t actually married to Grimes) and Graham Linehan (jumped the gun on it so spectacularly he got divorced as a result of being divorced)

Genuine Hibs Fan
Actually quite worrying how insane someone can go in a couple of years if they're incentivised. The only explanation for a shortage of tomatoes, on a rock in the North Atlantic, in February? Great reset mate

He doesn't even make sense in his own wee universe.

He had a couple of very gentle swipes at unnamed "TV historians", would love to know what Tony thought of him now.
