For the Motherwell fans, I just bought a ticket for the away end earlier this morning from the Raith website ticket section.

I think the 31st restrictions is only for the home end seats. All the Away end seats should be available.

Just got my ticket. Hopefully we an get through this but I fear the worst.

As a super fan(ny) I purchased tickets today. Would have thought there’ll be plenty though. 1500-2000 in the home end, 1500-2000 in the away end. 3500-4000 crowd.

Given we had just shy of 1900 home fans on Saturday past, I'd hope we'll break 2000, especially as the clubs have been reasonably sensible with the ticket prices.

You would like to think we would break 2000. When was the last time we managed to get 2000+ home fans at Starks?

The biggest crowds we’ve had since the Covid shenanigans were against Killie last season 3417, and Dundee this season 3222 and 3050. This game will likely beat those attendances.

It's an interesting game for both sets of fans most of who will have never seen the sides play each other. It has potential for a cup upset for the neutrals as well so it should easily have a crowd in the region of 4000.

I suspect the result today will knock 500+ off the away crowd.

If we appoint a new Manager or an interim Manager then we may seek a few more.

But right now apathy is taking over.

Christ, tell them to come along, our two most played forwards are likely out, our tough as nails sweeper is suspended, and three other players (including one of two remaining forwards) are cup tied. If you can’t win this one…

You clearly haven’t been watching us….

Whilst we don’t have our injury problems to seek, Hammell confirms almost a full starting 11 in the physio room, we are utterly rank rotten. Never seen a Motherwell team so devoid of any passion, care, fight or intensity.

If Raith turn up and get in about is, we will not be able to cope and could easily capitulate. A Cup Upset is most definitely on the cards.

Wrong

We had over 5k at the cup game in 2019 against our friends along the road.

Just checked and crowd was over 6k.

Certain player scored a hat trick I,m sure

Whos birthday party were you at that day?

I stand corrected. I was there as well.

It is perfectly acceptable to admit you are a closet Well fan.

I remember being at Starks Park a few times but must be over 20 years ago for the last time. Shame in many ways. But that is what happens when you are in the top flight for nearly 40 years. Will come to an end some time. Inevitable. It has been a major miracle to have been this long.

Looking forward to the game. Big time. Living in Edinburgh. Just a wee jaunt over the Forth Rail bridge…..

What are the best boozers near the ground. I expect a decent away support.

With the unreliability of the trains, you’d be better getting an X61 from Edinburgh bus station. A £6.30 return is way cheaper. That bus takes you to Kirkcaldy bus station. There’s a good few boozers on the way to Starks. The Novar is a Rovers pub. But all opposition fans are welcome.

I have a feeling we’ll struggle too. A very depleted forward line through injury. Our Captain is suspended too. Just hoping Stanton can push hard for the Vaughan role. Another worry is we have a game against Dundee on Wednesday. A case of tired legs for Saturday. Just hope we avoid any more injuries as we haven’t signed any forwards that aren’t cup tied.
