Thought it was going to be tough even for these imposters to “plumb new depths” this season but yet again they come up with the goods. What a shower and no surprise that it was our (self appointed Franz Beckenbauer with his docks at ankles) that conceded it.

Are you at the game RJC?

What is our supposed defensive formation?  I'm guessing Brydon, McKay and East in a back three with McGrory or McKechnie and Hendrie as wingbacks?

Some thoughts:

- This will be an improved Peterhead side to that we played earlier in the season.  They've brought some players in and the new manager's pre-match motivational talk will be like the Darvel version x 10.

- Wilson unfit again - the lad would be playing at a higher level now if he could stay fit.  I get all the Diddy Cup jibes but we all knew when we signed him that we wouldn't get lengthy runs in the side without injuries.

- Central defence continues to be our achilles heel - no surprise there, eh?

- Bartley certainly giving some of the younger lads their chance - eg McKechnie, Ruth (although maybe injuries have forced his hand)

- We need to see if Kabia can give us something second half

Yay ... Connor Murray ... never doubted the lad ... aye? 🙄

Peterhead Twitter claiming he scored into an empty net from distance. They surely never sent thr GK up for a corner that early?

Wasn't there so don't know how we played but on the face of it that's a decent away win against an improving Peterhead side.  Coming from a goal down to score three, positive subs by Marvellous Marvin and it rockets us up the league to ... well ... seventh really ... on goal difference.

Can see what they’ve been working on in training. Much more passing on the deck, goalkeeper playing from the back, passing and moving quickly and getting to the byline. Poor first 20-25 mins then played well thereafter in the first half without any cutting edge, until giving away an idiotic penalty.

Second half started the way the first ended, but we moved it quicker and with about our 20th ball in from wide we eventually found Paton with an open goal. Kabia was excellent when he came on - harrying defenders, goalkeeper (led to 3rd goal), quick and superb composure for the second goal.

Good day out. Can’t be many places where you can get a pint at half time.

Good feedback JK - safe journey home! 👌

QOS Twitter said that Kabia was outstanding/running riot ... I like it.  Hope its not a debut day flash in the pan that can't be sustained.  If he's out of contract at the end of the season, maybe we should be digging out a contract for him to sign.  Mind you, he might have higher aspirations than us.

Strange feeling to be smiling at 5 pm on a Saturday.
