We capitulated after the 2nd goal but rallied pretty well and had a lot of pressure second half without creating a huge amount. 1993 Posted January 9, 2023 Share Posted January 9, 2023 Have to agree with the above posts. Pretty poor performance all round. We played the extra man up front but it left us looking light weight in midfield. We try to play football from the back but neither full back has the pace to go past anyone or the passing ability to play it forward! The new lad Main could be a handful if he is given the service and a good foil for Hester but for a big lad didn’t win much in the air. Taylor has bags of pace but as previously stated there was not much end product. At least he was getting to the bye line, something we have been needing a player to do for a while and hopefully the end product will improve.
