Kilmarnock v St Mirren

It’s coz we have a “sense of entitlement “ according to Hendo. It allows them to try to defend an elbow smash into an opposing player.

Tbf Gogic showed Erhahon how to do it with maximum results.

Quite funny how St Mirren fans think that they are much better than Kilmarnock. There's a touch of arrogance based upon absolutely nothing.

Not much better, but a bit better yes, which is based on having 6 points more than you with an additional 2 games in hand, and not having Blair Alston as our midfield "playmaker".

It was a much better point for Saints today than it was for us, but that's about it. Both teams were absolutely hoaching and served up a game that would get football stopped. If St Mirren fans are happy with that then you are so very easily pleased.

We shouldn't be happy about taking an away point from a place we haven't won in a decade, playing to all intents and purposes for 90 minutes with 10 men and comfortably keeping a clean sheet and not really looking like conceding in the process? Riiiiiiiiight!

Whatever our gameplan was today, it went out the window in a moment of madness. That you think we were hoaching matters not a f**k as our gameplan was no longer applicable whilst Killie forced only two saves in 90 mins against 10 men.

So I'll disregard your scorn and be delighted for a point where we were losing 3 and 4 goals on the regular on our travels earlier in the season.

Disappointing not to make anything of the man advantage, far too slow in getting forward, and some poor individual performances from us coupled with a lack of quality up front makes me think we could still be playing now without scoring.

The time wasting and play acting from St Mirren was equally disappointing and it certainly takes the shine off an impressive defensive effort for nigh on 90mins with 10 men.

And the weak referee shat out of properly punishing Gogic because he’d already sent off Erhahon.

There was an incident a couple of minutes after the Gogic one where the Killie player led with an arm - a foul but no card.

There were a few things the ref got wrong today for both sides, none of them cost you full points.

Again, where was this over the top time-wasting? We ran the clock down a bit in last 15 mins but no more or less than any other club seeing out time.

Indeed, we apparently were so bad for it, we had one man booked for time-wasting for hesitating at a shy. Our keeper hardly dilly-dallied and the only actual stoppage that you could think that our player might have been a bit cute was Kiltie. And even then, he went off injured from the hold up.

If anything, the officials wasted more time than we did. We had two players kitted out for a double sub (and it WAS intended as a double sub - we wouldn't have had another instance available to break it into two subs) but the 4th official fucked that up...after letting Shuaghnessy go on he was seemingly intent on not letting Grieve on. The Killie fans went off at St. Mirren for that but it was a genuine f**k up from the officials and wasted plenty of time.

The entire Killie support was an absolutely seething mess for the entire match, despite the ref giving them everything. Great to see it carry on to here.

Great supporters at our midden though. Killie, Aberdeen, and, when they ever come to us, Partick Thistle. Great away supports, always welcome, always come in numbers.

It’s New Year. I’m in a good mood. 😀

Credit to the large travelling support, both clubs supporting the fixture in good numbers.

We do have better individual players this season, absolutely no question about that. I’m reasonably satisfied with a point considering we played 90 mins with 10 men. To be honest were on top the majority of the second half and could have won it.

A top flight professional team should never have a plastic pitch, makes you look amateurish. Other than that size wise, support etc we are similar.

If you'd offered me 5 points from our three games after the world cup, I'd have probably taken it. But getting 5 points and numerous fans of each of our opponents spitting the dummy has been a terrific return.

It's uncanny how many times we can ride our luck and keep getting results despite repeated reminders that were actually not any good whatsoever.

Did you watch it? The time wasting started at throw ins from minute 10. Several instances of St Mirren players going down faking head injuries, Curtis Main refusing to go off when substituted etc - it was fairly rife from where I was sitting.

The onus is on Killie to break anti-football teams like that down obviously, we saw plenty of that style in the championship last season, so it's unfortunate we weren't able to find the goals despite being in total control for much of the game.
