Years ago, I was stuck working from the library in Alloa for a while due to TalkTalk's dreadful customer service, and discovered that Clackmannanshire Council had Pie & Bovril on their block list for the reason of "Pornography"

I did sign up to P&B back in 2003 after somebody mentioned it on the Raith Fan Talk, I didn’t make a post. I signed up again, with this account, when I finally got myself banned over on Raith Fan Talk. I haven’t been back.

I have not got a clue how or why I joined this site back July 2010.

I'd just moved to Thailand in Feb (for good) and was obviously scouring the internet for Scottish fitba content and somehow you have all been landed with me.

@Radford was on here before I was, although I think he had to set up a new account in the intervening years. 

@codfish another I remember from the very old days. Doesn’t post much these days but you see him lurking in the St Johnstone thread a lot. Clearly jealous of our recent successes as ‘the fakes’ continue failing to break that top 6 glass ceiling. 
 

A lot of funny moments in the 20 years of  P&B. The war with Mumsnet and the poster that came over and posted  nudes of herself was a highlight, that and the ‘top 50 posters’ threads. They would just descend into absolute chaos.

Wait, whit? I obviously missed that! I vaguely remember some spat with Mumsnet. Back when the site started I used to spend more time on it and was a regular on General Nonsense. I don't think I've looked at it in years though, quite possibly a decade or more. I'm only on this thread because I was tagged into it.

There has been some tremendous nonsense down the years. I could spend days in the Gold Forum reading wild old threads.

Eg Scotzine getting solidly bodied. HibeeJibee’s retirement thread. Aberdeen Fan Accidentally Set on Fire (you weren’t there man…) Duff Man getting taken for a ride over a 42” tv for £50.  TRS’s holiday in Strathclyde.  Fast Action lumping on Northern Rock as they went bust. Xbl (I think) posting highly regrettable stuff about some girl who patched him.

October 2006 that I joined, as a 14 year old. More than half of my life using this site, and like many others it accounts for the majority of my internet usage. I’d be pretty bored without it.
