Well done to the Dons' fans for staying to the final whistle. At last week's game in the Capital, half had gone home by half-time.

To be fair, if you decide to leave at HT in Edinburgh there's so much variety in terms of where to go to take your mind off things - boozers aplenty. The same most definitely cannot be said about Darvel.

Fzucking brilliant. You’ve done East Ayrshire proud.

Judging by the amount of pictures posted of bookies betting slips on social media it wasnae just Aberdeen that took a pumpin in East Ayrshire tonight 🤣

Don't get me wrong, it's a massive achievement for Darvel and still a huge upset, but I think it's far from the biggest.

I think that Darvel team is better man for man than the Albion Rovers one who put Motherwell out in 2013, Motherwell were also in good form in the league at the time. It will certainly have been more expensively assembled, I don't mean that as a slight, just an observation.

The perception of teams like Darvel is skewed by the extremely limited promotion and relegation at the lower levels. They are far better than sides two, or even three tiers above them.

Time for expanded promotion and relegation, there are a lot of teams who need to find their true level in either direction.

I'm not sure, there would certainly be a lot of Gretna style teams going up.

Even the club's that aren't quite at that level are making a complete arse of the off the pitch decisions both Queens Park and Edinburgh could be in the top two leagues next season's with brand new grounds that are suitable for League 2 or League 1 at a push.

You're already drowning in greenies and probably don't need any more adulation but this really is top tier stuff. Very well played sir 👏

I would imagine that most people who don't follow football at WoSFL level are blissfully unaware of this .....

Lesser Hampden is a massive show of under ambition off the park. On it QP are going great guns.
