Can't recreate any issue quoting posts but I don't have an Android device.

So we need to try and work out what the common issue is.

Anyone having this problem can you please let me know what device you are using and what browser on that device?

Ta much!

Works fine on my Samsung galaxy S20 on Samsung Internet.

My battery optimisation is off, too, Div.

Getting close to being unusable for myself personally again.

Is this the same problem as described above?

Is it an Android device?

What Android device is it?

Have you recently done an update on your device?

Was it working and now it's stopped again?

I kind of need detail otherwise I'm not going to be able to help I'm afraid.

Yes, it's a Samsung Galaxy S22. It's been like this since I got this phone. I'm using Samsung Internet.

It cleared up somewhat in that it become more sporadic. Emoji, gifs and 'special' symbols seems to be what triggers it along with quoTes.

Johnny, does it happen when you use Chrome on your Samsung device?

Alli - same with you - can you try downloading and using Chrome - to see if that at least works around the issue?

Seems to work alright on Chrome, but then I can't use an ad blocker, I don't think Chrome allows ad blockers.

Ahhh, it's all starting to make sense! A ploy to get a tenner out me?

Spoiler

Jokes obvs.

I understand you have to use ads to keep the site running but I cannot stand them, and I am from Aberdeen, therefore tight as a ducks arse. Plus the wife shouts at me enough for being on P&B constantly, I would probably get my eyes gouged out if I paid £10! Haha.

If you can find a work around for Samsung Internet that would be ideal.

Just as a test can you try your Samsung Internet with the ad blocker switched off to see if it makes any difference to the issue?

I don't think it will tbh but would be good to confirm either way.

No difference mate.

Ok so it’s a Samsung Internet issue with something related to the editor on this forum software.

I assume this will get fixed by the next Samsung update but until then I’m afraid the workaround is going to be to use Chrome 🤷‍♂️
