It’s that time of year again, I would imagine there will be some postponements midweek/weekend with the freezing conditions about to descend on us.

If the forecast is correct, can’t see any grass pitches taking days of minus temps and being playable. A frosty Astro won’t be much fun either

Was thinking this today but for once our Friday night game is probably in the best location of Arbroath sea salt treated grass.

Heard that the Rangers B-Cumbernnauld game is off. Any others fallen victim to the weather?

If Gers were serious in developing their players they'd have switched this to Ibrox and turned the undersoil on.

It's a disgrace!

Didn't you hear? They actually moved the game time to 4pm. So that the fans could get to the earlier friendly to be held at Ibrox and then make the potential LL fixture.

Not sure where player development fits on their list of priorities.

Or they could have played it on the same pitch after the friendly, enabling fans to stay on watch the second game & their young prospects. Two games, one after the other, is done all the time in these four club tournaments that routinely occur pre-season, & that have been taking place during the World Cup break, so just needed a bit of thought from Rangers for a win for all parties.

Should have played both today at Ibrox and gave the punters a chance to see Linfield yesterday.
