TPAFKA Jersey 2 Posted January 23, 2023 Share Posted January 23, 2023 (edited) It's a very weird wee affliction/obsession east coasters (particularly Dundonians) have with calling Paisley Buddies "weegies" like it's some sort of demeaning insult. I don't find it insulting at all, I just find it inaccurate and think it makes them look like the ignorant, insular nobodies that they are. Put it this way, if I was forced to be referred to as either Glaswegian or Dundonian, there would be no competition. I mean are these folk actually in some way proud to come from that piss ant little shithole in the middle of nowhere. Their most famous export is Desperate Dan FFS.
