Venceremos. I was going to stay in the pub but got talked into going into the JH for the first time since the Caldwell season. No idea what Docherty did to deserve a red card, was saying at the time that you never see scuffles like that as a red card any more but thought it was Lawless having handbags with Cardle. Sportscene might clear it up. Other than the ten minutes of pettiness before HT it was a pretty dull game, Smith's miss from the duffed kickout by the Kelty keeper suggested to me he will never score again for us, just let him go to Ayr in January. Sad to see Higgy like he is, like the girl you went out with in high school who is now just a mess, but you'll always have those memories. Cammy Smith tho Edit : meant to say Dowds isn't the best striker we've had in a while but he's one of the most likable. Shame he always seems to look better coming off the bench than starting Just watched this. Saw Cardle and Docherty got sent off at the same time and thought it might be entertaining. But just two stupid/needless red cards without adding any entertainment. Definitely looks like Docherty stamps on Cardle and Cardle had lost the head. He went flying in over the top of the ball with the challenge and that merited the red card in itself, he was out of control and dangerous. Did Lawless get booked? Seemed to be quite aggressive with Cardle, pinning him to the ground and looked like he had his hand on Cardle’s throat area when trying to keep him down. I think that’s when there’s the potential ‘punch’ from Cardle? Either way, definitely looks like two red cards.
