BB_Bino
Looks like it's going to be an interesting game at Forthbank on Saturday as East Fife come to visit. Although many things have changed since Greig McDonald was sacked by the club, I'm sure he would love nothing more than coming away with the 3 points on Saturday, especially with Albion Rovers ending their unbeaten run-on Saturday. We have stuttered a bit over the last 3 or 4 games and the way we were playing, it's no real surprise to see Annan walk away with 3 points last weekend. Individual errors are costing us again, along with our inability to keep 11 players on the pitch with Clark once again being suspended and I think Thomson will be as well unless he only received a 1 match ban for his Red Card against Albion Rovers. It shows how thin the squad is that there is no obvious candidates you can see stepping in. Edited November 14, 2022 by BB_Bino
WC Boggs
2 out of the 3 matches now lost have involved Cammy Clark getting sent off for needless and stupid challenges in the first half. I hope Darren is making it clear to him that won't be tolerated. With Dumbarton stretching out a lead again, we need to find form again fast. Let's hope our turn at poor form ends here. We do all seem to be taking turns at it. Edited November 14, 2022 by WC Boggs add
Red Watch
Given all the rain which we had yesterday, what is coming down at the moment, and what is forecast well into this afternoon, the match must be in doubt.

Valentino Bolognese
Thinking of travelling through from Perth for this today and looking for some guidance. 1. Is the game likely to be on? 2. Decent pre-match pub? 3. Also assuming it must be cash/card at the gate? Any help appreciated! GoldenNuggets_YeeHaa
Struggling for a bench today. Stewart Murdoch returns most likely at CB with Steele suspended for 1 match.
Big Fifer
We absolutely love chucking goals in eh? Stirling probably just about deserved the win, not much between the sides overall. We huff and puff but it's the same old story, we're good on the ball in midfield but hardly ever look like scoring and look like conceding from every cross. When we play a slightly better team like we did today we end up bypassing the midfield a lot of the time anyway and trying to find Shepherd which only works about 20% of the time. He might have scored today but Trouten still doesn't do it for me, lots of misplaced passes. We're probably still 2 or 3 good and ideally experienced signings away from being good enough to really compete at the top of this league.
troy
Just an observation of the East Fife bench.Would it not be a good idea to introduce some of the other substitutes into the game .Are we not trying to bring our own players through to find out if they are good enough.I noticed Stirling were able to bring on other players but we don’t seem to be able to do that
OohAhGretar
As ‘Big Fifer’ said, we just about deserved the win over the piece. We started brightly, scoring two good goals following great crosses from the right. Almost added a third soon after, after which East Fife took over. Truth be told the visitors dominated the latter part of the first half. Ferguson and Healy looked lively and it was no surprise when the former was involved in the away goal shortly before half time. Felt that the half time whistle came at the right time for us. The break allowed Darren Young to make the tweaks required, nullifying the threat of Ferguson and Healy and as a result we had much more control in the second half. McGregor was dominant at the back, McGeachie put in an admirable performance in the unnatural position of left back and the tireless Dale Carrick led the line superbly. Predictably, late on East Fife pressed for an equaliser. Currie produced one vital save and after a few near misses off our own we finally clinched it on the break. Dunsmore surprisingly popping up on the left wing to finish emphatically after it looked like Fotheringham had squandered the opportunity. headthebaw
Dale Carrick really put in a shift today (as usual) and looked spent near the end. The last 20 mins was proper end-to-end stuff.
Taxi41
Should have a point. Dominated possession for large parts of the game then sucker punched when pressing for the equaliser. Murdoch looked decent in at CB and gave an element of confidence. What outdone us yesterday was the lack of cutting out crosses from our left hand side. Healy and Newton didn't manage that in the first 15 and it killed us. Thankfully when Balde switched that seemed to give Newton an element of protection. Agree with the earlier comment re lack of subs.

I agree with that but I think this current manager and previous manager doesn’t trust putting on Cunningham, Williamson etc and it shows why lack game time and they aren’t better with what is on the park could be the only reason why. Hopefully injuries return and back to full bench soon they will be hoping.
7 Eleven
There are three certainties in life: brith, death and Scott Mercer's inability to defend the back post. I suppose it is only fair Darren Young benefitted from this at some point in his career.
