Richey Edwards
Ian McCall is one of the most tactically astute managers currently operating in the Scottish lower leagues.

clashcityrocker
Arbroath controlling midfield - but nothing up front to create anything. Thistle look very average.

We need to stop this, Thistle no better than us, win 3 nil, Ayr, a couple of weeks ago, no better than us, win 2-0, they’re is a theme here
Tattie36
Can’t wait for the usual suspects to come on and defend Campbell with the “give him time, it’ll come good in January” pish. The fact that we’re hurtling towards relegation due to horrific signings (or lack of), dreadful substitutions, tactics and starting line-ups has been so blindingly obvious since the very start of the season. We are terrible and no striker, or even two will make much difference to that. Thanks for the memories Dick it’s been great. Time to go now though.

oneteaminglasgow
Our second goal was a decent laugh with Bannigan falling over and still being allowed to get up, get the ball and play the pass behind the defence. I don’t think we played all that well, and we’re obviously a side low on confidence but we did create some decent chances (which we took, mostly) and I do think we probably deserved to win. Arbroath missed an absolute sitter early in the second half, and Milne’s clearance off the line was great too, but other than that I don’t really think we were threatened much - even from set pieces where we’ve conceded about a million goals this season. Arbroath had a lot of play in the midfield, but thankfully didn’t really do much with it. Linn made a big difference when he came on, so f**k knows why Campbell didn’t start him. That said, the fact that you’re reliant on a 37 year old winger to such an extent should ring massive alarm bells about recruitment. Mental that our exhaustive list of clean sheets against SPFL opposition this season is Arbroath, Arbroath again, and then Arbroath.
oneteaminglasgow
Forgot to say, but Harry Milne is sensational. He’s getting very close to overtaking Ross Forbes at the top of my ‘greatest player to ever live’ list.
