While I agree, that picture doesn’t add anything to the argument.  The handball rule is a joke - that decision is consistent with a long line of nonsense awards.

Edit: and Celtic are not treated more harshly.

I remember when VAR was introduced in Spain every handball in the box was a pen, the refs in this country are doing the same apart from the budgie cage one.
Simplifying the rule is needed plus common sense has been lost.

I though Ross County had a reasonable game plan which they nearly carried off, and could have had a point on another day. Their subs had a couple of chances late on and I personally enjoy the intensity of a tighter match than a routine 5-0 drubbing tbh.

Having said that, it was enjoyable to see the reaction of the team and fans after the penalty for County.

The referee and VAR were an utter joke all afternoon though.

The actual state of that tweet by the way hahaha.

Also, if you’re going to use a still image, at least use one where the ball is touching O’Riley’s hand.

Yeah he needs to be at least 0.0685436 seconds quicker.

I’ll be sure to pass on the feedback.

Expertly side stepped as always.

I concur, Haksabanovics close control for the winner was expertly done. Boys a player.

I don’t think it’s a penalty, but that’s after the fact as well.  It clearly hits his hand.  Your issue is with the law, not the decision.

My first instinct at the game was that in the box not the handball, the ref gave the pen without even thinking about the rest of the rule M8.

And the inconsistency of its application how this one is given as a penalty and the Michael Smith one wasn’t is inexplicable.

There was a 9 point swing in our favour last Jan/Feb when all signs were pointing to Rangers winning the league. They bin GVB now, get players fit and give a new guy this month to work with them and recruit in Jan then who knows. How likely that is I don’t know but what no one at Celtic including fans should get complacent

Rangers won’t make up 10 points before the end of the season (taking GD into account). The league is won. If you beat them in January then bookies will likely pay out mate.
