Motherwell v Celtic

Don’t want come across all hipster tactical but I felt we caused a lot of our own problems in the cup game by trying to press Celtic when they had free kicks or goal kicks deep in their own half, they played through the press most times and we we were then outnumbered when they were attacking. Would prefer to see us hang back a bit when they are playing out from the back.

Have to agree - on one hand, Celtic looked like they were playing themselves into trouble but that rarely actually happened. What did happen was that as soon as they put one pass through our pressing players, they had acres of space to attack which I assume (clueless as I am about tactical stuff) is the entire point. Don't want to watch that again.

I take it this is only legally available to those living abroad? Not likely to be affecting many people. We were £12 when people couldn't attend games or free to season ticket holders, how much were Celtic?

Nah it's open to all tonight for some reason. I thought it had stopped completely.

There’s the dilemma. Folk want us to start high tempo, press, in their faces etc to get them rattled and we tried to do that in the cup game. If there’s players you want to put under pressure on the ball it’s usually a goalie and the centre backs. I get why we did it, but Celtic played through it far too easily. I wasn’t convinced we were pressing as a group either so they always has an option for the pass.

Think it was part of the new Sky agreement when they redone it that clubs can sell up to some number (I want to say 5) games per season via PPV as long as they were not a) selected for Sky and b) Fell outwith the usual blackout times.

So you don’t believe £15 is excessive?

Fair enough

I think it is what it is and you're under no obligation to pay for it if you don't derive any value from it. Probably Tam Cowan's fault as he's part of the Ibrox sleeper cell or illuminati.

You tried the same argument with Lafferty, always a wee deflection.

What I do believe is you pick and choose your outrage, usually when it is perceived as hurting you. If you really were the social warrior you make out, your criticism would extend to injustices everywhere they are found.

Shall we just put this £15 down to yet another instance of Catholics in Scotland are persecuted?

The Clown hasn't answered your perfectly fair question.

Edit - ...correctly.

Yeah of course im not.

But I think you’re not being entirely truthful when you say you don’t believe it’s excessive

Yeah imagine me commenting on the cost to watch a stream involving the team I support.

Of course you had to bring up religion and make a snide comment about Catholics

How very predictable sadly

Cheaper than what Motherwell are charging, but id also argue £12 is excessive

You won’t hear my arguing in support of it, especially now with the cost of living crisis

If it was upto me it would be £5 max to watch games online

Im ok with paying £15 to see the game. Its saved me the drive from Ayrshire on a pissing wet night when I have work in the morning. Compared to the cost of my match ticket and diesel or how much I would spend in the pub if it was on Sky, I dont think its that bad.

Ffs there's no need to be a bigoted twat just cause Celtic fans pick and choose what they get mad about. Like aye you won't see as much of them getting mad about their own prices for away fans/ppv games nor will there be as many talking about shit that makes their club, players or fans look bad.

But there's f**k all need to defend Laffetry or for that deranged last sentence.

Don’t get involved in something you have zero knowledge of not the context of the conversation sparky.

Go and look at the tin pot thread about a month ago and get involved when you are acquainted.

Not gonna listen to OF fans bleat about PPV prices when they’re on Sky/Premier over 15 a season when everyone else in the league is lucky to get 3 away games, usually vs them.
