Nae Union
Butter the toast, grate cheese onto the toast, add a teaspoonful of mustard to the beans, pour over the buttery, cheesy toast. Not eating carbs at the moment so that is quite tortuous to type out.

You do realise that you are advocating for adding salt + salt + salt to a product already laden with, yes folks you know what's coming, yes indeed, it's salt. Would you say you have a delicate palate? (I haven't presumed that the butter was salted) Chopped onion, a couple of chopped tomatoes, a chilli, spices and half a tin of beans, I have found this combination atop (no no no) aside buttered toast to be an acceptable artisan lunch. Also, I'm beginning to think that perhaps my palate is decayed.
parsforlife
What’s the purpose of buttering the toast here? The sauce provides the moisture there’s no need to go overboard.

I'll make the assumption you are from Bo'ness given your username and team, Dave: the only place I recall anyone eating cat food was Bo'ness, some of the female workers at Paton & Baldwins used to have that on bread or toast for their dinner break (I used to make deliveries there, the women were fucking animalistic). Worcester sauce used to be a favourite of mine before I found out there was fish in it. And, aye, butter the bread first.
