If his stock is currently high enough to be approached by English Premier League clubs then the main sticking point is surely whether he would want the Rangers job now, rather than whether Rangers think he's ready?

That's certainly something that could prove to be an issue should we decide to approach him. He may well feel like his next gig is a Premier League club rather than return to us.

It is funny how changing managers is presented here as a positive thing and not a damning inditement of the complete failure of the board to get it right the first-time round. If St Mirren were sacking a manger after I year it would rightly be seen as sign of failure. Also it's worth remembering that a year-six months in there were plenty of dons fans looking for goodwin to be sacked, and saints fans looking for Robinson to be sacked. I had a feeling that things might have come good for Gio once he got rid of all the over aged over rated shite he inherited from Gerrard. Glad that will not happen now and they have to throw the dice all over again.

It would be a bit odd for Beale to walk out on QPR only about a month after claiming that he was rejecting Wolves because he believed in the project he was building there and didn't want to be seen as disloyal, etc.

Saying that, QPR's form since then has been pretty awful.

Perhaps he's not really a good manager.

Has Kjetil Knutsen been spoken of yet? Would be a great pickup.

Brought Bodo/Glimt from 11th to 2nd, Double Champions back to 2nd since he was taken from Assistant-manager and placed as the gaffer.

That's not mentioning he's only spent £1,035,000.

As a Celtic fan the only realistic option on the table that would worry me. What he done with Bodo has been superb
