Think we got what we deserved there, we didn’t do enough second half to win that. Against ten men even when ahead we should be pressing high and going for the killer third. We didn’t, we sat deep, time wasted and invited pressure and got what was coming. Thought taking Main off for Joe when the second went in was a ridiculous sub tbh, the manager got it wrong, again.
Yet another disappointing result and performance, with Rangers at the weekend it looks like we will be going into the World Cup on a bad run and sitting in 8th or 9th. Are we progressing? Can’t see it personally.

Harsh, Lex. There are definite signs of progression, we are a much better team at home. Terrible away from home right enough. Tonight was the equivalent of Tait fucking it last season in the last minute against Motherwell, except it’s on the manager.

Robinson was roaring at the players to press higher and jeep the ball when we had it the full added time. I tend to blame the guys on the park for basically ignoring what seemed obvious to everyone bar those 11 on the pitch.

Well Motherwell weren’t down to ten men in that game. We certainly aren’t progressing in terms of league position and our last three performances have been terrible. Let’s see if we can get a result on Saturday to head into this month off with some kind of optimism. It will be a long break if we are going into it with one point from our last four games.

This is what I mentioned at the time, blatant handball 15 seconds before the penalty incident. Yes, it's a penalty but had the Ref been even halfway towards competent he would have given the handball against the Saintees player and free kick to us.

How the hell can you claim that's a blatent handball based on that footage? 🙃

Got what we deserved, time wasting in corners when we are 1 up and they have 10 men instead of finishing the game off.

Piss poor.

You can see why there was time wasting at corners but Tanser jumped over the advertisement to punt the ball away. That's next level shite.

We're 4 points better off than we were at the same stage last season, so that does suggest some level of progression. It is like last season, a very tight league, there's only 2 points between 3rd and 8th.

I suspect Lex will use whatever stat suits to put Robinson down. We can do nothing about the points other teams collect when not playing us so league position when the table is like this is pointless as 8 can become 3rd in one weekend. He already seems to be building up the game against one of the cheeks as some sort of gauge, they never are for us win, lose or draw.

There seems to be a small hard core willing Robinson to fail for some strange reason. There are two sitting in front of us shouting for him to GTF at some point in every game and another who keeps making disparaging comparisonswith Goodwin constantly. I just dont get that, why (more so the Goodwin idolitor when clearly results so far are better under Robinson) ???

That's Alba's fuzzy non-HD broadcast. The Saintees player has his left arm extended, the ball hits it. Blatant.

Don’t know what’s more embarrassing, the clutching of straws here or the relentless and tedious effort to refer to The Saints as ‘Saintees’ in every one of your posts.

Who's clutching at straws. The whole point I am making is that the handball rules should be applied consistently. Carey's arm is outstretched when the ball strikes it...no foul.

Tanser's is outstretched 15 seconds later...penalty.

As for the other part of your post..."We love you Saintees we do, oh Saintees we love you".

I blame the guy behind me who went "YEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS" when the Ref blew for the foul about 30 seconds before the goal.

He jinxed it.

There were quite a few that did the same. Pleasing, if truth be told.

Up until the red card, much better than the Killie and Livingston games. Not only did we probably win the battle but we had 65% of possession. St Mirren had a couple of wee spells but I felt we were pushing before Mitchell's dismissal.

What followed was rotten, retreated into a shell and offered absolutely zero. The goal was our ONLY touch in the box in the final 30 plus minutes. But moments like that can forgive a lot and it feels like a win.

I still have no idea how this season is going to pan out for St Johnstone.

The league wide conspiracy to keep St Mirren out the top half rumbles on.

Stephen Robinson blaming officials for the added time is great stuff when it was his daft subs that gave us a foothold again in extra time, he delayed one of our own throw ins during extra time too with his theatrics on the touchline aswell, which makes his mewling even better.
