Dundee V Raith Rovers

Recommended Posts

Enjoyed the game today. Delighted with a win over a good footballing team, that was good up to the box but in all honesty there wasn’t much bite from the Raith front men.
As for Dundee, it was a reasonable first half with Robinson unlucky to hit two posts from one shot. The midfield took time to settle after two injury replacements but it was great to see Sean Byrne on the park.
We had a good second half with good movement from McMullan, Mulligan, Robinson and the back men looked steady albeit Tyler French had a quiet day in a strange position for him. Even the subbies kept up the movement meaning that even Sheridan looked quite pacy.

Robinson took his goals well. But there should have been more…

Playing like the last 45 minutes for the rest of the season will see us very close to the top.

We couldn’t get our rhythm going today and that was in part due to good pressing by Dundee.
Some half decent play in the first half but absolutely zero cutting edge.
Penalty changed the game and the frustrating part of it was the player running through 3 players prior to it.

Dundee should win the league and we should be knocking on the door for top 4.

Connell shoulda been hooked at half time and I can’t work big John out.

I’ll add nothing more as this thread has been embarrassing from the start.

Enjoy your weekend.

Is that the sub that came on, he is fuckin huge, made Sweeney look like Paul McMullan.

That’s the guy.
Faroese international but we’ve only seen a handful of minutes here and there and 45 mins at Arbroath.

Looks like he could be good but on the other hand utterly atrocious with minimal positional sense.

Quite a few tears and snotters getting spilled onto the streets of Raith tonight emoji20.png

Probably some Raith getting spilled on to the street as well after their young team came round to the Derry after the game looking for a fight.

Ha, there was a guy at least early 20's at half time pointing at a 12 year old, asking to meet him outside for a square go.

Then some ballon on his way out squaring up to a bunch of kids.

Minter.
