Alloa v Queens

Recommended Posts

We were missing a few defenders on Saturday and Hogarth pulled out in the warmup. Hopefully not long term injuries.

Liking the back 4 more to give us the extra body in midfield. Would be nice if Scougall is fit enough to start, although Miller has done fairly well in his place

Offord on international duty for the u19s next week so not sure if he'll be available.

There's a preview of this week's game in this week's episode of the podcast - big thanks to @19QOS19 for joining us again to help look ahead to the game.

Decent listen guys, cheers.

Usually go to the Recs when Queens visit but looks like family issues will keep me grounded today.  Like the podcast said, a draw is likely today.  Would like to think Queens could produce a performance and win this but we're so inconsistent and I can't see Alloa being second best again as they were at the Palmy game earlier.  Hope to hell Wilson is fit and starts.

Got my ticket to the gazebo bought for the game, didn't manage to make it to Embra last week so hoping for a similar performance from Queens to see what I missed. Goes without saying that we need Wilson involved (but I've said it anyway) and hopefully young Gibson, if selected, in the same good form as last week. Actually think this is also the mildest weather I've ever experienced in Alloa for a game

Is it a back four today I take it? And how have we played?

No, three at the back.

Alloa had a lot of the ball after we scored without doing an awful lot. We've wasted at least four good breaks forward and Alloa scored with the rebound from a corner

Hopefully the options we have on the bench (Connelly and Todd) can make a difference in the second half
