Should be a simple straight swap but I’m convinced the excellent Lee Kilday will be the victim in Fox’s return so Coyle can prove a point on Eze Jack Thomson for me has been my player of the year so far and tonight I thought he was excellent again. I honestly feel like teams will be after him next summer, he’s got it all. It just didn’t click in the final third unfortunately but these games happen. Unless Eze is dropped, that could be the difference in us finishing in the top 4 or finishing somewhere like 7th or even 8th. Not about blame. These young lads should be getting coached about a situation that keeps repeating itself. Sandy Stewart was a left back. Eze was out of position because, yet again, he was attempting to mark the player already marked by Kilday. This is a valid concern. It's such a common occurrence that I came to believe weeks if not months ago that he's simply been told not to come out and collect crosses when there are defenders in front of him. And the one time we actually need him to stay on his line and collect a high ball sailing safely straight towards him (Dundee game) he comes rushing off his line like a maddie and the ball goes straight over his head. There is no doubt he has made some great saves this season - I think he's made the most saves in the division (was told this was mentioned during the TV commentary) - but that probably says more about our defence. We really need a keeper that can command his penalty area, especially at set pieces.
