On fire Raith v Accies

What a save that was. Best I've seen in a while. No way he should be able to react to a volleyed shot like that so quickly.

The volley was pure reaction, and beautiful…the save was incredible, that lad may go far.

We'd be getting on a lot better if we stopped handing Accies a freekick every time they cross the halfway line. Aye a couple of them have been a wee bit soft, but you need to quickly learn that the referee's giving them and adapt.

We've been better in open play over the piece, but we're inviting too much pressure by giving them a free shot at loading up the box every five minutes, particularly when we're dropping everyone back.

I could do without Connell taking up offside positions when the balls knocking about the midfield. Two or three times in that half the ball broke loose and he couldn't do anything more than stick his hands up. Very frustrating. His long throws cause bother but he's not doing enough as the lone forward otherwise.

Maybe a wee bit unlucky to not be in front on the balance of play, particularly with that one brilliant save, but that one lapse from O'Riordan (and good play from Tiehi, to give his due) has been massive. Until then Accies had looked all at sea.

Raith's width is tricky to defend and making it way too easy to play around even if it's not going through the middle a lot. It's not been a particularly good performance but getting the equaliser at least keeps the fans on side for the time being. Tiehi is a leg and we're getting the odd chance behind Raith's FBs. Actually jad two or three sitters as well as the goal.

Tiehi is the kind of player teams can always use…a real hold up attacker type, causing bother for us.

After a ropey start to the season, IM has really stamped his authority on the squad and true to work no other team is working as hard on the pitch in the division. After a few doubters who questioned his managerial credibilities would you put your hands up and say he has now proved you wrong?

Well done Raith and well done IM

I know we beat Thistle 3-0 last week and you'd have to say that despite their current travails they're still better than Accies, but I think today's the best we've played all season. We looked cohesive and deliberate across the park, a very good team, doing good things together.

The Cameron effect.

Really solid performance in what should be seen as a "bread and butter" game - without demeaning Accies who are a bit stop start but these are the types of games you need to win to ensure you're not in the mire.

We look like a different proposition with Spencer and Vaughan returning to fitness. The summer signings all looked excellent today.  Ngwenya and Millen looked composed and provided dangerous outlets going forward. O'Riordan got done for the goal but still did everything asked of him. Scott Brown is an absolute powerhouse.

Vaughan's assist was tremendous. Really quick thinking and an excellent delivery. Liam Dick has had a tremendous season given the pelters he's had before.

There were a lot of questions over Murray earlier in the season from some folk. Some of the bed wetting in the summer was daft. But Murray is doing a great job proving them wrong.

Fantastic again boys and well done Murray 👍

I’ll say it again, Stanton is a good SPL level player, a joy to watch in midfield. Plenty of other positive individual performances but it’s the team unit as a whole that’s brilliant.

Not much between the top 6/7 teams so it’s consistency that’ll see us at the right end of the table.

Hamilton look like they’ll struggle to beat the drop on that showing but their number 17 looks good. Feel a bit sorry for Zanatta, he’s a super nice guy but his career is certainly hitting a low by collecting splinters at the bottom team in the league. Amazing to think this time last year he was our standout player.
