Patrick Thistle V Dundee

Recommended Posts

The two pre-season title favourites, evidently at the peak of their powers. In their last 4 games Partick have scored thrice and conceded 15 times. The injury bug has taken root for the Jags, and it's hard to judge whether this horrible slump will continue for long or not. If they need motivation though, next week should provide it as they get to drag that minterrific flag out again.

We're four games unbeaten in the league, but now would be a swell time to start actually start doing some winning. Mulligan will be back, and hopefully both French and Robinson will have recovered from their bugs. I hope Partick's form of late continues, but a win of any kind would be big.

Had a wee look back, forgot we had a makeshift defence for the season opener so that really *shouldnt* stop us from being able to win.

Zak Rudden anytime scorer, if hes fit, feels inevitable after the last few weeks. Hoping its just a consolation at least. 😬

Edit: id take a dull 0-0 right now tbh, just to avoid us slipping another place down in the league and so we get a chance to reset/stop the rot. Feels like a tried and true way to stop shitty runs of defeats is to shitfest a draw then look to win the next game after.

I reckon we should each get to execute our worst performer in the first half for half time entertainment.  Might buck up some ideas.

At this stage it's more of a mercy killing than an execution for us and I'm sure it would be for Dundee as well.

If this ends up a big win either way would /should either manager get binned?

In a strange way, I'd be happy enough with a draw. Another game closer to January and a more favourable run coming up in the lead up to January.

That being said, we need a performance. We've not had a decent one in what feels like forever.

Unfortunately, slipping another place or 2 doesn’t just depend on this game.
