Derry Alli
WTF is going on here? Hibs have went 1-0 up about 4 times according to reports. Or am I having a seizure?
djchapsticks
That's so soft. It hit the back of his tucked in arm

His right arm was outstretched but it didn't look like it hit that arm, it looked like he turned his back and it hit the arm that was in at his body?
Lex
Shafted by VAR two weeks in a row? Colour me surprised at this anti St Mirren conspiracy.l

Ric
From the footage I saw, it looks like he pulls his left arm in to his body and turned away from the ball, the ball hit the top of his left arm. To give a penalty for that seems harsh to say the least. There was no movement towards the ball and the arm wasn't in an unnatural position. If it his his right hand, which was outstretched them it's totally a penalty, unfortunate as that is, but as I say, the video replays I've seen show it hitting on the left.
Wee Jock Poopong McPlop
That’s 4 penalties against us in the league this season. All for handball.
Tam M
Can’t complain so far, Hibs have been far the better team. I’d want a penalty for that if it was me. The depressing thing is that the officials have both failed to spot two major decisions, the offside goal and the penalty and are just relying on VAR.
houston_bud
I reckon the penalty is one that is given more often than not but Tait is unlucky, the ball is hit from a few yards and he's trying to turn his back. It's been a decent game, Hibs probably just shaded it but both teams have had chances. Hibs offside goal looked very tight.

Gareth_Glasgow
Looked a clear penalty to me unfortunately, Tait’s forearm was fully extended out and I thought that’s what the ball hit. Still think the midfield three need to concentrate more as there’s been too many times where Tait or Strain have been left 1v2.

It's obviously part of Robinson's game plan but if we allow Hibs so much space they will harm us.

If it hits the right arm it's definitely a penalty as its not dissimilar to Tanser against Motherwell at start of the season. I'm 90 certain it doesn't touch the outstretched arm though and hits the back of his left arm which is tucked in to his body, with his back turned, from about 2 yards away.
sergie's no1 fan
Is that a clear and obvious mistake from the ref? He acknowledged it hit his arm? Also was Tait not fouled in the lead up to the penalty? Hibs have created the better chances but Marshall has pulled off 2 good saves too.

Quite liking the 2 boys doing the commentary on SMTV although at times it sounds like listening to 2 guys in the row behind.
