Andriy_Parmolenko Posted October 29, 2022 Share Posted October 29, 2022 3 decent goals (although our first looked like a howler from Kelty’s defence, but well worked from us all the same).Wighton and Mochrie both standouts for us but a very good performance from everyone. Also a big fan of the halftime change, that gap on the left side needed plugging up as Agyeman was causing all sorts of problems, and the switch had a massive impact on his effect in the rest of the game. When we're picking up 3 points from games like that, got to be happy. 101 Posted October 29, 2022 Share Posted October 29, 2022 Some really nice football in the lead up to both our goals, the defending for Kelty's was poor about 5 players were hanging about before a cracking finish found the back of the net, it was however a great finish but should have been closed down before it got put in. Pretty sure the Kelty guy who slid in late right in the corner next to Dross should have seen a red card. I’d say Kelty had some nicer passages of play and created better chances, they deserved a point there and are u lucky to come away with 0. Tidser’s challenge on Edwards was very poor but probably still just a yellow, but Logan looked a bit luckier not to be given a red, it looked high and was definitely reckless. All 3 goals were of very good quality. Excellent ball from Breen and well read by Wighton for our first. Great patience and cracking finish from Lyon for Kelty’s goal. The pass from Mochrie for our second though, fucking beautiful. Decent enough performance from us again without being too spectacular. Scrolled back thro the thread thinking he must have been at our game on Saturday but no. Weird behaviour. Decent game. Kelty look good from middle to front but a bit weak at the back. They should have enough to stay well clear of relegation. Agyeman is a handful & they have several other players (Low/Tider/Higgy/Cardle) who would easily get in most teams in this league. Mochrie/Wighton/Mehmet were class in that second half & the manager impressed with the wee tweak to the formation at HT.
